Lil' Cowboy

This was probably the best day of Teague's whole life. We went to Justin & Kesha's house (bro and sis in law) to let him ride their horses. He was so excited he couldn't get out of his car seat fast enough. He kept saying, "Horsie Horsie". They have 19 horses so this kid was definitely in heaven! Kyle didn't think that he would want to actually ride one, he thought that it might scare him when the horse walked. We put him up on Cowboy first and he was so excited. He wasn't scared at all!!! He kept saying Big, Big. He was like can you see me mom, I'm riding a horse!! He kept looking around and could see all the horses and just knew that he had to ride every single one of them. And he just about did. I don't know why we didn't take him over there sooner. It was so neat to see him enjoying something that his mom and especially his dad enjoy as well. He is definitely going to be our Lil Cowboy Teague!! He just can't get enough of horses and cows.

His very first ride on a horse at 20 months. Teague and Cowboy

Teague riding daddy's horse Saige

Teague walking Leanna around the corral. This horse was so gentle and won Teague's heart. He has asked about and talked about Leanna every single day since. His eyes really lit up when he was able to walk this big horse around all by himself!! He was so little compared to her.

When we got back to my parents house that night he kept talking about all the horses, and had to tell everyone what he did. So my dad went and got his cowboy hat and Gavin's old chaps and spurs and dressed him up. He had so much fun pretending to ride a horse and rope the cows.

I always thought when this obsession started that it wouldn't last very long. It has been going strong for quite some time now. We have all come to the conclusion that he's not changing his mind about things anytime soon. And you know what that's alright with me!! I love having my little Cow-bee around. He tells me all the time, I'm a "Cow-Bee"!!

What an adorable little cowboy! How cute that he loves them SO much! He's going to have to get into riding lessons or something when he gets older! Isn't interesting to see what they become interested in?

Next time you are in town give me a call and we can meet up, it would be fun to see you.
