My Not So Little Boy

Here is a little update on Teague Man. Today he is 14 months old. He's into anything and everything, and climbing on everything. He is also alot of fun to take to a store now days. ;) His favorite is pushing the cart, hiding in clothes, and knocking things off shelves. This is because he refuses to sit in the cart. He loves to help me sweep the floors, the broom is his favorite. Playing with my makeup is another high priority, and I mean just throwing everything out of the bag then hes done. He especially likes my bronzer brush. He has alot of fun sweeping the bathroom floor with it. Which of course mom appreciates. He likes to throw things in the garbage, wether they are garbage or not. Going for walks in the stroller. Looking at animals, especially grandpas cows!!! He can moo exactly like a cow. And its not just a "MOO" he bellars like a moma cow. He likes copying everything he sees his dad do. He is sooo tickelish, just like his daddy. But needs everything perfect just like his mom. (this is not a good thing) He is a very happy go lucky boy. He love loves his silky blankets, he doesn't sleep without them. He has such a fun personality. He is a little cuddler. He loves giving his momma kisses and hugs. Playing in the bathtub with his duckies and toys is the highlight of his day. He will cry everytime he has to come in the house from playing outside. He likes driving the car, honking the horn, and turning on the blinker. He knows the exact sequence to turn on the four-wheeler. He loves to be rocked to sleep. Being in his car seat is his least favorite. He waves and says "HI" to almost everyone. He is the joy of his parents lives. We don't know what we would do without this preciouis boy. I still call him baby, and it always hits me he's not a baby. He is a little boy now. I love being his mom and am so grateful that Hevenly Father gave us such a sweet little spirit. Here are some of his latest adventures.

At the green house with Grandma Smith and Jerica trying to buy flowers. He wasn't so much help. Throwing rocks on the walkway. Pulling flowers off tables. He was also trying to pull the wagon around. He wore me out by the end of it. The pictures dont do justice, his face was sooo dirty. He is all BOY!!

Teague and I found a fun park while on a walk one day. It has a great big toy with a bunch of slides. He loves trying to climb up the stairs. He likes to go down the slide with mommy. He will even go down by himself. He is getting so brave, he has a little of his daddys dare devil ways.

He loves to be outside. He likes going new places and exploring. He expecially loves fishing with his daddy. I'm pretty sure its just in the Peterson genes that they fish and hunt. There is no escaping it. He was trying to figure out the fishing pole. I am so excited to take him camping this summer. He will be so much fun. I can't wait to make all those precious family memories with him.

Look at this sweet little boy. Most of the time he sleeps on his stomache, like a little forggy. He loves his silky and is always cuddled up with it. Hopefully we can detach him from it before kindergarten. ;)

These are two of his most favorite people. It doesn't get better than Grandpa and Uncle Gavin. We were at the sale watching Grandpa sale his calves. He had so much fun watching all the cows go in and out.

The little man is trying to get in six teeth right now. YIKES, yes we definatley know when he is teething. He also fell this morning and split his lip open. He hit his front teeth under his lip, and cut it open on the inside. It scared me to death. I picked him up and blood was gushing out everywhere. He didn't want us to touch it, he just kept spitting the blood out. He obviously didn't like the taste of it. Kyle assured me that he was going to be fine and that he didnt need to be life flighted. ;) He hurt for a while, but he is tough. Just a fat lip, and some skin that isnt atached to his lip anymore. Hopefully it will reatach itself soon. We sure cant get enough of him. I love waking up to his sweet smiling face everymorning. I love how me makes me smile, and melts my heart. I say it all the time, but I enjoy being a mom and I cant imagine my life any other way!!!

On another Planet.....

This last Thursday I had the unfortunate opportunity to get my wisdom teeth out!! I was scared out of my mind!! I am a super control freak so knowing that I was going to be knocked out and basically not in control of anything scared me!! I told the Doc that I was more scared to get my teeth out than when I was having my baby!! That just isn't right!! All went well, they yanked those babies out in 15 min. Then the rest of the day was a blur, I had no idea who I was, where I was most of the time, and what I was even doing. They seriously drugged me good!! I'm just glad that my mom and sister were there to take care of me!

Here are some things that I apparently did..... and vaguely remember

*I remember the nurse coming in to get me to take me to the car, but when I was walking out of the room , I said this isn't the room you operated in, she said I know you walked to this room just a minute ago. I had no idea. I don't even recall how I was getting one foot in front of the other to make it out the door. I later asked my mom if I walked out the door hunched over like an old lady. She laughed and said no. But thats how I felt walking out there. Good thing Teague was in good hands. At that point I didn't know I even had a child.

*Mom took me to Dairy Queen cuz I wanted a blizzard. Guess I ordered a Banana Creme pie blizzard after starring at the menu forever. I do remember taking a bite with a chunk of pie crust in it, I'm pretty sure I took it out and flicked it on the floor. I asked her if I should take the lid off to eat it. Then fell asleep holding it sideways.

*Next we went to Walmart where my mom was picking up my prescriptions. Jerica was in town so she came and watched me in the car while my mom went in. I remember feeling really really sick. And because of this I apparently passed out on Jerica 2 times. Freaked her out so bad she started slapping my face. Yes the face that just got the teeth yanked out of it. Good thing I was numb from my eyelids down!! Then I preceded to dry heave. I wasn't even capable to take a bite of the blizzard Jerica was feeding me. She said I looked like a fish gulping for air! Can't you picture it!! I really hope that any passerbyers in the parking lot didn't just sit and laugh at my expense. But I'm sure it would have been hilarious.

*Next thing I knew we were at home. Once again not sure how I got in the house, but woke up on the couch with a icepack on my face. Then I pretty much just slept the rest of the day. I could hear people talking, but had a hard time waking up enough to associate with them. Eventually the drugs wore off, and unfortunately so did the numbness. Feeling better now, but boy oh boy was that a roller coaster ride. Glad I don't have to do that again anytime soon!!

Before Picture

Heading to the Doctor. Really Scared!!!

After Picture

Not aware of anything.

Trying to sleep it off.

In the mean time Teague was in good hands. Jerica came over and played with him in the sprinklers. He has such a good auntie!! He loves her so much its ridiculous!! He is now saying her name!! (Air-Ca) Here are some pictures of their fun.

First time running in the sprinklers. He really enjoyed it. Next time well have to make sure we bring his swim suit. Playing outside, sliding down the slide, and water to run through.... Man does life get any better. Yup it does his favorite auntie enjoying it with him!!

Look at that sweet face. Again, notice the bruises on his forehead. He is out of control lately. I promise we don't beat him. Thanks again Mom and Jerica you guys were so much help. Couldn't have done it without you!! You two are the best!!

ZOO ANIMALS

Kyle and I decided that we were going to take Teague to the zoo since the weather was going to be so nice this weekend. We decided to go to the zoo in Idaho Falls. We knew it wasn't going to be anything like the Hogle Zoo in Utah, but none the less they had animals. And really it didn't matter to Teague, he loves any animals! I packed a Picnic lunch for us, and we ate it in the huge park before going to the zoo.Teague wasn't interested in eating, he wanted to go and play on the toys. Here's our adventure at the zoo.......

Stopping for a Family Picture

Best Buddies looking at the
animals. Teague loves his Daddy!!
My Precious Family
I love being a Wife & Mother

Teague clucks like a chicken now.
It is so cute. I have some chickens in
our laundry room, he points to
them and says, "Boc Boc" So of
course we had to take a picture.
Daddy and Teague looking
at the stinky donkeys!!! He
reached through and touched it, but
it moved when he did. I think it scared
him to death. After that he wouldn't
even look at it.

HERE ARE A FEW OF THE ANIMALS WE SAW............

Dingo

Cant Remember Goat..Deer???

Zebra

Lions
Is is me or when you see Lions
and Zebras at the Zoo you automatically
think "MADAGASCAR"

Pelicans
Otters
My personal favorite, we watched
them swim underwater. The little guys
were so entertaining. Teague Really
liked watching them as well!!!!

Monkeys
The little one was picking fleas
off the other one. So glad that
we don't do that!! Gross
Another Monkey
He was so cute eating his treat.
MY Little Animal

Peeking through the fence at
the animals.
Walking around like a
Big Boy!!

He wouldn't look at the camera
all day. This was all I could get
of his face. So excuse the fact
that half of his face is cut off.
...................................................
We all had such a good day at the zoo!! It was so nice to get out of the house and enjoy the lovely weather! He loves to be outside and he loves animals, so what an awesome combo for him. Teague is so much fun, and gets funner by the day. He has such a fun personality, and unfortunately an attitude to go along with it!! It makes me sad to see how fast he is growing up. I just try to cherish every moment I have with him. I am so appreciative of my husband, and for how hard he works so that I am able to stay at home with our little guy!! I love being a mom, there is no greater joy in life! I love my BOYS!!!! Can't wait for more fun to come this summer!

BARN YARD BREAKFAST

We got a call this morning from a realtor who wanted to show our house to some people. Why I agreed who knows?? On a Sunday come on, honestly!! I absolutely hate having our house for sale!! It is so stressful! Anyways, I was running around picking up Teague's toys, and everything he gets out of cupboards and drawers in every room. So I asked Kyle if he would make breakfast. I think its safe to say that the zoo animals might have still been on his mind!! But seriously that's talent!! I can't believe what my hubby can do with pancake mix!!! Our meal consisted of a Bunny, self portrait of myself, a chicken, snowman, giraffe, and a moose!!! What a good dad, when mom makes pancakes you can pretty much guarantee they will be circles!!
